HAHA studio is a Stockholm based lighting brand founded in 2016. Focusing on refining the craft of lighting design through small-scale and sustainable production methods.
Today, we are proud to say that 100% of our production takes place in Sweden. Most of it happens just one hour from our Stockholm studio, allowing us to work closely with our production partners. This proximity ensures both the highest quality standards and a truly sustainable way of manufacturing.

vision
HAHA studio’s philosophy is rooted in quality craftsmanship combined with elements of playfulness. HAHA has always been seen as the brand’s motto. A way of life. To be positive and optimistic, and creating great moments of joy in our everyday lives. Combining quality manufacturing together with this motto results in a design aesthetic that we are proud to stand behind.
sustainability
Our mission has always been to reduce the brand's environmental impact as much as possible. With small scale production we eliminate the need for storage building, focusing more on a produce to order approach. By controlling 100% of the manufacturing process we eliminate the need for middle-men, eliminating further unnecessary environmental impact.
design for disassembly
HAHA studio also follows the concept of Design for disassembly. A principle that allows anyone to dismantle our product with simple tools. This allows our users to easily repair any product part if needed. When the lifespan of a product is over, one can smoothly recycle each part as well. Nothing is glued or force-heated together, nor are any dangerous chemical products used.
packaging
For our packaging we use local producers, reducing long transport routes. Also, a lot of effort has been put into not shipping air, meaning our packages are custom designed around each product minimizing air space that would take up unnecessary space when shipped.
production
HAHA studio have for the past years fine-tuned our production methods. Today we work with a chosen few. Most of them are family run businesses, specializing in a certain skill or technique. We are proud to be working within this close network of Swedish craftsmen. Having the production in close proximity allows us to often visit and secure our detail and quality standards, often finding new solutions together with the workers on new and improved designs.
material
At HAHA Studio, one of our core strengths is allowing materials to speak for themselves - to highlight their natural qualities and let them thrive as they are.
Many of our lamps are designed to reveal traces of both the material and the machine in the final form. Our primary material is aluminium, which is 100% recyclable. Each lamp is carefully constructed so that every component can be separated, making repair and recycling simple and sustainable.
aluminium
Light, strong, and endlessly versatile, aluminium is in the heart of our lamps. Its durability and natural corrosion resistance ensure lasting beauty, while its recyclability keeps sustainability at the core of our design. Hand-finished and shaped with precision, every piece reflects careful craftsmanship.
glass
Timeless, elegant, and completely recyclable, glass adds clarity and refinement to our lamps. Designed for longevity and minimal environmental impact, our glass elements enhance light, texture, and form, bringing a delicate yet durable touch to our design.
wood
Our lamps use FSC-certified wood sourced from responsibly managed Swedish forests. This ensures that the wood comes from forests where biodiversity, ecosystem health, and local communities are protected. Using FSC wood supports sustainable forestry, reduces illegal logging, and locks carbon within the material. Making every lamp environmentally responsible.
LED lightbulbs
Efficient, long-lasting, and environmentally conscious, LED bulbs bring light to life while using minimal energy. With low heat emission, instant brightness, and a lifespan that outlasts traditional bulbs, they combine functionality, sustainability, and design flexibility in every fixture.
