Material: brass, glass, aluminum
Process
For the first time in our practice, cast glass was used, a process that proved both educational and technically challenging. Since glass casting is a manual craft, each glass component was individually adjusted to align with the surrounding details, requiring meticulous post-processing.
Result
Two identical wall fixtures were produced, one measuring 40 cm and the other 90 cm. In the building’s reception area, five custom wall lamps were also designed, seamlessly integrated into the curved wooden wall paneling. Each fixture in the reception measures approximately 150 cm in length and features solid brass details. The glass rods feature unique textures and patterns, each carefully hand-polished. The sand casting was carried out at Målerås Glassworks.
