Ring Katarina

HAHA Studio was involved throughout the entire design process of this project - from naming and developing the graphic identity to the interior design and lighting concept.

The main focus is the striking ceiling installation that acts as the centrepiece of the restaurant. More than just a light fixture, it functions as a sculptural artwork: a shimmering school of fish swimming around a central mirrored column. Within the composition, guests can discover not only fish but also other motifs and delicacies connected to the restaurant’s theme. The piece is illuminated from within by five dimmable LED tubes, giving the sculpture a vivid, dynamic glow.

Above the large windows, custom-made globe pendants were installed, powder-coated in the same rich red hue that runs throughout the interior. HAHA Studio also carried out the lighting design for the entire space, including sourcing and selecting all functional lighting such as spotlights.
